Luca is an artist and designer from New York City and Rio de Janeiro.
Between craft, performance, and design, Luca questions the absurdities and inequalities of the contemporary city that have become normalized. By using methods of improvisation and intervention, he seeks to activate public attention, critical participation, and joy within the common spaces we share.
Luca was educated in architecture and liberal arts at the University of Texas at Austin. He has worked at design offices, with artists and performers. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Art, Culture, and Technology at MIT.
